Spent the xmas eve at my hubby’s aunt place… It was almost a complete family gathering with many children running around the 3 storey house. We had steamboat and BBQ outside the house on a long table and choice of food by the side. With the wide variety, I felt as though I was at Marina having steamboat. Ha.

Am at home today – xmas day. Reason being I need to finish some work and cannot afford to go out. Haiz. Nevertheless, the season feeling is still in the air. Hereby wishing all again a MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I have been using the coffee table in the living room as my ‘workstation’ for a long while. With the backache that I got from the long hours of sitting on the floor, I recently moved to share the study desk with my hubby. But still it’s too squeezy…. and so I decided to get 2 new chairs and a study table as xmas gift for my home. We spent about 3 hours assembling the chairs and table and by 12.30 mid night, I finally have my own working corner in the guest room.

Have decided to get another sofa bed, cupboard and a new fan to make the guest room more complete these few days… Xmas mood = shopping mood. Seems to have no end to my spending in the month of Dec. Haiz.

Oh this is my hubby’s new chair by his usual study desk….

Our chairs are of the same series except his is high back and mine is not (too gigantic for me to get the high back one). ‘Couple seats’ ya.

Received a no of xmas gifts from my colleagues this year… most of which are my favourite Kitty series. Adore all of them. More pictures available here.

Bao’er at level 44 already… she got this new attire when she was at level 40, sexy isnt it? As she is going to change attire when reaching level 45, I thought it’s time to put this up first. Gee.

Took a short break recently and went to KL. The Transtar buses were fantastic. It’s almost equivalent to a first class airline with TV programs (more than 30 shows to select from) and games and they serve refreshments, food and snacks throughout the whole journey. I took a 26 seater (premium) there and thought it was v good but the 16 seater (first class) that I took on return trip was even better. Both are equipped with spacious seats, leg room etc, it’s really worth it to travel by it’s first class bus if you are going to KL.

Of all things, the thing that left me the most impression is their taxi. It’s really tiring to have to negotiate for taxi prices there, unlike our Singapore taxi where every trip goes by meter. There was this taxi that we took that cost us S$46RM to just travel from a mall to our hotel (twice the usual price)! This guy adjusted his meter and it jump like S$0.20 every 2 secs. Crazy… my hubby heart was jumping madly with the meter too. That’s the last time we took any taxi that says they go by meter.

Anyway, we didnt do much during our stay except for some shopping trips at a few key shopping malls like Mid Valley Mall, Lot 10 and KLCC. Both my hubby and I bought a no of new clothings and shoes etc… We each spent about 1K, minus the hotel, travel and food. Posted here are 3 of my favourite purchased items. Oh the coach coin purse is a new collection and a gift from my hubby. It’s not available in Singapore when I went to the boutique recently. Gee.

Glad to be back home… minus the work that have piled up of course, keke.

*Relieve* the year end event is finally over… Have been busy with the preparation for the last one week with OT-ing almost every night. Yesterday was a nightmare for me. Besides running around and standing thru’out the graduation in the morning, I also have to stand and coordinate thru’out the event for the annual dinner. And we were standing at the entrance near a speaker, I have to scream at the top of my voice to give instructions. As a result, my voice are hoarse today. My only decent meal yesterday came only at 12 midnight – maggie mee at home.

Was supposed to go to work today. But I was too exhausted and woke up only at about 10 plus with a aching body from head to toe (my big toe is slightly swollen due to yesterday’s standing), so end up I didnt go to office. Went back to sleep all to way to 8pm. Cant believe how I can sleep that long but well, it’s to make up for the many lost sleeps for the past one week. Well, more work to come (SQC and MIS) but at least one less thing to worry about…

Bao’er at level 34 now. I removed her standard Emei pink ‘uniform’ so that her dressing is slightly different from the other Emei players. Gee.
