Besides the 2 new U600 (aka ultra-slim 10.9) that we have bought recently, these are the 2 new additions to our collections. The N73 was actually meant as a gift for my sister but after purchase, we found the functions too complicated for her understanding and use. Fortunately, with our recent upgrade of MaxOnline and my hubby application for a new mobile line, Starhub ran a promotion to give out this NEC N412i for free. It is as slim as my U600 and the functions are pretty easy to use too. Other bonuses are things like camera, blue-tooth and MP3 player etc. For a freebie, I didnt expect something this good. So this new phone goes to my sister and for me, I have 2 phones to use interchangeably. Gee.

Went for a short 2-nights cruise last week. It’s really pure relaxing as there weren’t much to do on board. We spent most of our time eating and eating.

Day 1:

• Crowded, queued for 1.5 hours before we could board the ship
• Mad rush for food at about 11pm.
• Many Ind***s around, noisy and no basic courtesy. Use drinking water to wash hand, shout to each other with me in between as thou’ I am transparent, grab people’s chair without asking, dont queue…
• Slept at 12 plus, took me a while to fall asleep as I get motion sickness with the ship moving 

Day 2:

• Went to photo gallery to check out the photos that they took for us when we board the ship. One women bought all the key chains, photo frames and photo printout of her family – total of S$229.00. My goodness. We only bought our 2 pics print-out for S$22.
• Sick of squeezing with the Ind***s at Meditteranean, we went to Pavilion which serve Chinese food for most of our meals. Also spent our $100 dining credit at noble house for lunch. Delicious.

• ‘Visited’ the casino today. Donated some money to them and left shortly thereafter.

• Went Arcade to play shooting game, e.g. Time Crisis II and House of the Dead. Love it. Our arms ached like mad the next day. My hubby’s palm swell due to his ‘enthusiasm’ in the fighting game (can’t rem the name).

• Went for a Topless Show performance at 11.30pm. Spent $40 on the tickets to watch a bunch of topless dancers. They could dance very well. It would be a very nice performance if not for the topless ‘costume’ that is a bit too much for me.  Btw, the theatre is about 80% filled with Ind***s, we could barely breathe.

• Fell down in my room. Stupid chair was blocking the way, right in front of the bed. I tripped and fell flat on my knees and palms. Came back with an aching knee and ugly wounds.

 Day 3:

• Breakfast and lunch… Pack up… Nothing else.

It’s really an experience. I love the sound of the sea when catching an afternoon nap, so soothing. But I think once is more than enough. Like what J has mentioned, I should visit Banyan Tree with the same amt of $$. Guess I will try just that the next time. Gee. More pics available here.

My liking for seaweed has grown recently… it can go with any of my meals, from dry noodle to soup noodle to plain rice. It just tastes heavenly and make my food more delicious. Even my hubby is obsessed with it and keep requesting for more to go with his rice. Try it if you have not done so. I like the Jap ones sold at Scotts Isetan supermarket. It’s already cut into small pieces like those in the pic, easy for consumption.

It’s steamboat at Marina South again. My parents have been asking us to go there for every of our family gatherings, from their birthdays to mother and father’s day. I barely ate anything tonight as I caught a flu and sorethroat from my hubby and I had to resist the temptation of the BBQ stuff.

Charles is very cute today. We were talking about some DS gaming stuff and he said he has this nice game at home. I told him that I haven’t been to his place for a long time, so didn’t get to see his game. He ended up inviting me to his place for his coming birthday.

Charles: You can come to my place during my birthday.

Me: When is your birthday?

Charles: November 81.

Me: Eh, 81 is the year. What is the day? Is it on the 18th?

Charles: Hmm, I dont know. You can come and try on that day lor.

Me: ……. (speechless)

Recently, my hubby tried to order some fast food at 4am in the morning. After getting through the line, the operator told him they can’t deliver to our place due to overwhelming response.

Hubby, “Over-whelming response? At this hour?!”

Operator #1, “Eh, actually we got no driver now.”

Half an hour later, my hubby tried calling again, this round, another operator gave him the same response and he reacted in the same manner. This round, operator #2 says, “Oh ya, many people watching soccer now.” My hubby gave up and went to bed with a grumbling stomach. Ridiculous.

Saw this in a Maxi cab one morning… Thought it’s a no-smoking sign initially, cute….

My hairstylist at Reds commented that my hair look like a book when I went to her to do a soft rebond today.

“Why is your hair cut at one length? Look like the bind of a book!” Right after this, she snapped my hair into a ‘U’ shape. Argh.

Goodness, I have spent close to $500 within 5 days’ time just on my hair – to AmuseCut last Fri for colouring and to Reds for soft rebond today. And my stylist is trying hard to ‘lure’ me back for a hair treatment in 2 week’s time. I am trying hard to resist the INVITATION for now. 坚持!

P.S: The owners of Reds have split. The 2 brothers have agreed not to use the brand ‘Reds’ in time to come. One will be rename to ‘Jeric Saloon’ and the other as ‘One Saloon’ (Tampines, Parkway and Taka outlets). What a waste.
